30 Agosto 2023 Spettacolo - Solidarity statement italy

The Italian organisations of the entertainment sector affiliated to UNI Global Union, SLCCGIL

and FISTEL-CISL, call for support and solidarity for Italian workers, technicians and

artists in the entertainment sector.

Once again the Italian government has shown itself to be short-sighted, limiting itself to

introducing measures that do not guarantee the development of creativity and the

protection of quality work in the performing arts, instruments of democracy and pluralism

for every country. These workers are committed to demanding safeguards for structurally

discontinuous work and their struggle is fully part of the international mobilisation of all

workers in the performing arts.
